Midwife Care

We decided to opt for midwifery care and were lucky enough to get a spot with the Community Midwives of Toronto. We liked the philosophy behind midwifery care: that most pregnancies are normal, require minimal intervention and result in healthy babies. Respect for the notion of informed choice and decision making (including where you choose to deliver) and the great continuity of care. Besides, in Ontario, midwifery is fully covered by OHIP.
