Child care after the first year

We've started to look into our daycare options. After the first year, we'll need someone to look after the baby, as we're both going to be working parents. The City of Toronto maintains a list of child care centres. Here is a list for Broadview-Greenwood.

We are already on waiting lists for several of the places listed below. This is for May 2012! Also, what do you do after the mother is off maternity leave, and before they are allowed to go to preschool? We also need to look for childcare between one year and two and a half or so.

• Dandylion Childcare Centre. They accept kids when they are two and a half.
