My mom told us that she wanted to get us a rocker for the nursery. We have been testing them out all over the city. Boy are they ever comfortable (especially as I get bigger and bigger). We saw a great deal at costco for this lovely Dutalier one - $430 with the ottoman. We ordered it.... (We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Dutalier, a Quebec company, has some of the best quality gliders around!)Eric: Baby Bargains recommended a wide glider to accommodate a nursing pillow. Most of the ones we tried in the stores were about 18-19" wide, while the wide models, e.g. Dutailier Grand, were 22" or so. It was very frustrating trying to comparison shop online, because even within one website, the details on each chair weren't consistent. So I brought a measuring tape to Babies R Us! In the end, we decided that the standard width was fine.
