Due to good reviews on Baby Bargains and their wide availability, we bought a Graco SnugRide car seat a while ago. Ours is the SnugRide 35 model which we purchased at Dear-Born Baby I think. The number in the model means the maximum weight in pounds of a baby that it is designed for.

Graco is one of the models that our UppaBaby stroller has adapters for, so we'll be able to take a sleeping baby out of the car seat and right into the stroller.

As you can see from the photo, the seat is a tight fit and doesn't allow the driver's seat to be adjusted any further back. This is fine for Flick who's shorter than I am, but it may present a problem for me. I haven't driven the car since we installed it so I don't know if this will be uncomfortable in the long run.

Installation wasn't that difficult. Our car has LATCH lower anchors that the car seat base clips to. The base also has a levelling indicator to ensure the baby is, well, level.

One of the baby shower gifts was some car accessories including a mirror so that baby and driver can keep an eye on each other. This installed into the top-tether LATCH anchor. It's a bit wobbly and small, so we'll see how useful it ends up being.
