Morning Snooze
Baby is a very nocturnal muppet. He keeps us up most of the night and then goes to sleep for a few hours around 04:00 or 05:00. He wants to he cuddled rather than be put in the bassinet so here he is on my chest while I'm watching Top Chef Canada.
So you are watching Top Chef. Perfect child's pose from baby :) Speaking of which, I assume that transition is painful because of the stitches in the abdomen. In Yoga, we roll over to our side from a prone position and push ourselves up. This is to prevent the neck muscles from overly contracting, which is typical if you try to sit straight up. I don't know if it's applicable to the belly though.

ReplyDeleteHope everyone gets more sleep as things progress.
Jacob was nocturnal too at first, takes a while for their circadian rhythm to align itself to the daylight hours - until them, good luck :)
