So I spent the day running around from appointment to appointment: acupuncture, midwife, ultrasound. All because the baby won't come out.
The news is frustrating. The baby still had not dropped. While all his vitals are looking good and he is happily kicking and moving like crazy, there is no evidence that his arrival is imminent. This is concerning at 41 weeks.
Our hopes of delivering at home are diminishing. While we have all the supplies and folks ready -- our midwife is worried about letting babies go after 42 weeks. She says it is not advisable. And so, we have tentatively scheduled an induction for next Wednesday. Once you go down that path... you need to give birth in the hospital!
Keep your fingers crossed that he drops this weekend! It is time....
