Weekend Visits

We've had a number of visits recently.  My parents and grandma came on Friday; it was the first time my Dad and grandmother got to see Gabriel. I don't think we have any pictures of the meeting, unfortunately.

On Sunday, we had a visit from Sarah's second cousin's family. They brought us a huge brunch with bagels, lox, babka, salad and more. It was a really nice visit. Gabe spent the whole time asleep in our guests' arms.

(Incidentally, I just spent ten minutes learning about first and second cousins, as well as the whole "once removed" business on Wiktionary.)

Afterwards, we took a little stroll around our neighbourhood, commenting on the landscaping of the other houses and meeting other people on the street. 

Tomorrow, I go back to work. We're trying a slightly different arrangement in our bedroom: we moved the bassinet to Flick's side of the bed, so she can take care of him when he wakes up in the middle of the night. This will hopefully give me a better night's sleep so I can be conscious at work. My Mom is staying with us for a while so that will give us some help too.
