Tremblant Trip Aug 2013, a set on Flickr.

Having stayed at the Fairmont Mont Tremblant in 2011 and 2012, we know what to expect from the hotel, the resort and the area. This year, Flick and I, along with her brother and his wife, shared the living room/kitchenette suite that has two adjoining bedrooms. Our kids slept in Pack and Plays that the hotel provided. Having the central living space meant the kids could go to bed while we stayed up to watch a movie, read or play cards. A kitchenette with a fridge meant we could bring lots of snacks, fruit, milk and yogurt to keep the children happy. One night, with the Front Desk's help, we arranged for a babysitter, a woman who worked at the hotel. That gave all of us a chance to go out for a nice dinner.

During the days, we spent time at Parc Plage, a private beach on Lac Tremblant that is great for toddlers: walking distance from the hotels, shallow entry, warm water and a few picnic tables. We bought beach toys from the general store in the pedestrian village, and had a ton of fun building sandcastles and smashing them. Room service worked better than eating in the hotel restaurants, and we took advantage of that a few times.
