Daycare Party

A few Mondays ago, Gabe's daycare had an afternoon concert and invited parents to attend. The event turned out to be a singalong with childrens' entertainers that regularly visit his school. It featured a puppet show, and half-hearted attempts at including non-Christmas holiday traditions. I mean, Diwali (Nov 3), Hanukkah (Nov 27) and Chinese New Year's (Jan 31)? Really?

Anyway, Gabe didn't sing a single word during the presentation part, and we saw him scanning the crowd for us. When he spotted Mom, he ran right to her.

The "after-party" was a real hit though, with several groups of kids delightedly playing "Ring around the Rosie" while munching on snacks.
