On my last full day in Florida, we headed out in the drizzle to downtown WPB. Our first stop was a bakery I read about called Paris Bakery & Café. Gabe and I hopped out to pick a few things up, and make a quick washroom break.
After getting a few groceries, we decided whether or not to go on an amphibious boat tour in the cold, wet weather. The kids weren't really dressed for it, so we decided to wait it out and have some lunch:
We finally made up our minds and decided to go for it. There were several children's stores in the outdoor mall, so picked up new sweaters for the kids, before getting tickets for the 14:30 tour aboard the Diva Duck. Our guide kept up a well-rehearsed patter full of puns involving ducks, and we learned a bit about the moneyed folk who live along the waterway. Gabe really enjoyed the boat ride; Gemma slept through most of it on top of me.
It was a super-touristy thing to do, but we finally did something new in the area!
