Bonding Time

Today, Day 9, was probably one of the roughest so far. Gabriel fussed between 23:00 to 06:00 so we finally got to sleep when the sun was rising. There was a brief interruption in the morning, but mercifully, we were able to get some rest.

This afternoon, several of our friends came to visit and spend some time with the baby. Note to future visitors: gifts of bakery goods, especially breakfast pastries, are always welcome. Flick's brother and sister-in-law helped us out by watching and holding the baby while we took an afternoon nap.

After everyone had left, I carried Gabe around a bit in a Heart to Heart sling:
