Our midwife came to visit us around 22:00 last night, which is incredibly amazing since she had a full day already. She took blood samples from a heel prick to send to Ottawa for the Ontario Newborn Screening Program. Baby's weight was also measured again and Mary watched him feed for a bit, giving additional tips to Flick.
She reminded us to register our baby with the newborn registration service so that he can get a birth certificate, a Social Insurance Number, passport, etc.
